The Scarpa GEA has been a long standing comfortable touring boot specifically designed for women. The Pebax® Rnew lower shell is still light and powerful and a new, low friction Mirage Pro ski / walk mechanism with 13˚ and 16˚ ski mode options makes the touring even better.

• Polyamide shells and Pebax tongues keep the boots light yet stiff; lightweight Pebax Rnew plastic is made from castor plant oil rather than petroleum
• Using Pebax Rnew results in 32% less carbon dioxide emissions and 29% less energy used versus traditional plastic materials
• Alpine Axial Shell design combines the best of both the overlap and cabrio constructions to allow easy entry and exit; with a lateral twist, the tongue moves to one side
• Axial Shell construction provides excellent volume control while maintaining strong support for downhill performance
• Touring-style Intuition Pro Flex G liners use 100% Ultralon foam for a custom fit; offer good range of motion yet provide support with stiff reinforced tongues and cuffs
• Ski / walk mechanism moves freely in a self-lubricating housing creating a nearly frictionless range of motion for touring; offers 39° of travel
• When locked down, 2 pins lock the cuff for improved control and power transfer; the wire bail makes switching modes from ski to touring easy even with gloves on
• In ski mode, you can lock the cuffs at 16° or 20° forward lean
• Evo V-frame ribbing in the cuff increases the overall stiffness, giving you more power transfer to the ski's edge when bring the boot forward
• Air Ventilation Cuff has specific windows to enhance airflow and comfort, keeping your liners dry on long days
• Power strap allows for glove-friendly adjustment while wrapping securely around the outside of the cuffs, distributing pressure and bringing the cuffs close to your lower legs
• Wiregate Tour-Lock buckle clasp keeps your top buckle in place when opened allowing for faster uphill / downhill transitions
• 3 Zeus Lite buckles and a Predator RS instep strap on each boot lock your feet in place; buckles and instep straps are easy to engage with gloves on
• Boots are compatible with all alpine touring ski bindings; tech fittings at the toes accept Dynafit-style bindings
• Dynafit Quick Step grooves make getting into Dynafit-style bindings easy; fitting indicators can be seen from above to help you line the boot toes up with the bindings
